And

1
James,
a
servant
of
God
and
of
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
to
the
twelve
tribes
which
are
scattered
abroad,
greeting.
2
My
brethren,
count
it
all
joy
when
ye
fall
into
divers
temptations;
3
Knowing
this,
that
the
trying
of
your
faith
worketh
patience.
4
But
let
patience
have
her
perfect
work,
that
ye
may
be
perfect
and
entire,
wanting
nothing.
5
If
any
of
you
lack
wisdom,
let
him
ask
of
God,
that
giveth
to
all
men
liberally,
and
upbraideth
not;
and
it
shall
be
given
him.
6
But
let
him
ask
in
faith,
nothing
wavering.
For
he
that
wavereth
is
like
a
wave
of
the
sea
driven
with
the
wind
and
tossed.
7
For
let
not
that
man
think
that
he
shall
receive
any
thing
of
the
Lord.
8
A
double
minded
man
is
unstable
in
all
his
ways.
9
Let
the
brother
of
low
degree
rejoice
in
that
he
is
exalted:
10
But
the
rich,
in
that
he
is
made
low:
because
as
the
flower
of
the
grass
he
shall
pass
away.
11
For
the
sun
is
no
sooner
risen
with
a
burning
heat,
but
it
withereth
the
grass,
and
the
flower
thereof
falleth,
and
the
grace
of
the
fashion
of
it
perisheth:
so
also
shall
the
rich
man
fade
away
in
his
ways.
12
Blessed
is
the
man
that
endureth
temptation:
for
when
he
is
tried,
he
shall
receive
the
crown
of
life,
which
the
Lord
hath
promised
to
them
that
love
him.
13
Let
no
man
say
when
he
is
tempted,
I
am
tempted
of
God:
for
God
cannot
be
tempted
with
evil,
neither
tempteth
he
any
man:
14
But
every
man
is
tempted,
when
he
is
drawn
away
of
his
own
lust,
and
enticed.
15
Then
when
lust
hath
conceived,
it
bringeth
forth
sin:
and
sin,
when
it
is
finished,
bringeth
forth
death.
16
Do
not
err,
my
beloved
brethren.
17
Every
good
gift
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
and
cometh
down
from
the
Father
of
lights,
with
whom
is
no
variableness,
neither
shadow
of
turning.
18
Of
his
own
will
begat
he
us
with
the
word
of
truth,
that
we
should
be
a
kind
of
firstfruits
of
his
creatures.
19
Wherefore,
my
beloved
brethren,
let
every
man
be
swift
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
slow
to
wrath:
20
For
the
wrath
of
man
worketh
not
the
righteousness
of
God.
21
Wherefore
lay
apart
all
filthiness
and
superfluity
of
naughtiness,
and
receive
with
meekness
the
engrafted
word,
which
is
able
to
save
your
souls.
22
But
be
ye
doers
of
the
word,
and
not
hearers
only,
deceiving
your
own
selves.
23
For
if
any
be
a
hearer
of
the
word,
and
not
a
doer,
he
is
like
unto
a
man
beholding
his
natural
face
in
a
glass:
24
For
he
beholdeth
himself,
and
goeth
his
way,
and
straightway
forgetteth
what
manner
of
man
he
was.
25
But
whoso
looketh
into
the
perfect
law
of
liberty,
and
continueth
therein,
he
being
not
a
forgetful
hearer,
but
a
doer
of
the
work,
this
man
shall
be
blessed
in
his
deed.
26
If
any
man
among
you
seem
to
be
religious,
and
bridleth
not
his
tongue,
but
deceiveth
his
own
heart,
this
man’s
religion
is
vain.
27
Pure
religion
and
undefiled
before
God
and
the
Father
is
this,
To
visit
the
fatherless
and
widows
in
their
affliction,
and
to
keep
himself
unspotted
from
the
world.

1
Peter,
an
apostle
of
Jesus
Christ,
to
the
strangers
scattered
throughout
Pontus,
Galatia,
Cappadocia,
Asia,
and
Bithynia,
2
Elect
according
to
the
foreknowledge
of
God
the
Father,
through
sanctification
of
the
Spirit,
unto
obedience
and
sprinkling
of
the
blood
of
Jesus
Christ:
Grace
unto
you,
and
peace,
be
multiplied.
3
Blessed
be
the
God
and
Father
of
our
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
which
according
to
his
abundant
mercy
hath
begotten
us
again
unto
a
lively
hope
by
the
resurrection
of
Jesus
Christ
from
the
dead,
4
To
an
inheritance
incorruptible,
and
undefiled,
and
that
fadeth
not
away,
reserved
in
heaven
for
you,
5
Who
are
kept
by
the
power
of
God
through
faith
unto
salvation
ready
to
be
revealed
in
the
last
time.
6
Wherein
ye
greatly
rejoice,
though
now
for
a
season,
if
need
be,
ye
are
in
heaviness
through
manifold
temptations:
7
That
the
trial
of
your
faith,
being
much
more
precious
than
of
gold
that
perisheth,
though
it
be
tried
with
fire,
might
be
found
unto
praise
and
honour
and
glory
at
the
appearing
of
Jesus
Christ:
8
Whom
having
not
seen,
ye
love;
in
whom,
though
now
ye
see
him
not,
yet
believing,
ye
rejoice
with
joy
unspeakable
and
full
of
glory:
9
Receiving
the
end
of
your
faith,
even
the
salvation
of
your
souls.
10
Of
which
salvation
the
prophets
have
enquired
and
searched
diligently,
who
prophesied
of
the
grace
that
should
come
unto
you:
11
Searching
what,
or
what
manner
of
time
the
Spirit
of
Christ
which
was
in
them
did
signify,
when
it
testified
beforehand
the
sufferings
of
Christ,
and
the
glory
that
should
follow.
12
Unto
whom
it
was
revealed,
that
not
unto
themselves,
but
unto
us
they
did
minister
the
things,
which
are
now
reported
unto
you
by
them
that
have
preached
the
gospel
unto
you
with
the
Holy
Ghost
sent
down
from
heaven;
which
things
the
angels
desire
to
look
into.
13
Wherefore
gird
up
the
loins
of
your
mind,
be
sober,
and
hope
to
the
end
for
the
grace
that
is
to
be
brought
unto
you
at
the
revelation
of
Jesus
Christ;
14
As
obedient
children,
not
fashioning
yourselves
according
to
the
former
lusts
in
your
ignorance:
15
But
as
he
which
hath
called
you
is
holy,
so
be
ye
holy
in
all
manner
of
conversation;
16
Because
it
is
written,
Be
ye
holy;
for
I
am
holy.
17
And
if
ye
call
on
the
Father,
who
without
respect
of
persons
judgeth
according
to
every
man’s
work,
pass
the
time
of
your
sojourning
here
in
fear:
18
Forasmuch
as
ye
know
that
ye
were
not
redeemed
with
corruptible
things,
as
silver
and
gold,
from
your
vain
conversation
received
by
tradition
from
your
fathers;
19
But
with
the
precious
blood
of
Christ,
as
of
a
lamb
without
blemish
and
without
spot:
20
Who
verily
was
foreordained
before
the
foundation
of
the
world,
but
was
manifest
in
these
last
times
for
you,
21
Who
by
him
do
believe
in
God,
that
raised
him
up
from
the
dead,
and
gave
him
glory;
that
your
faith
and
hope
might
be
in
God.
22
Seeing
ye
have
purified
your
souls
in
obeying
the
truth
through
the
Spirit
unto
unfeigned
love
of
the
brethren,
see
that
ye
love
one
another
with
a
pure
heart
fervently:
23
Being
born
again,
not
of
corruptible
seed,
but
of
incorruptible,
by
the
word
of
God,
which
liveth
and
abideth
for
ever.
24
For
all
flesh
is
as
grass,
and
all
the
glory
of
man
as
the
flower
of
grass.
The
grass
withereth,
and
the
flower
thereof
falleth
away:
25
But
the
word
of
the
Lord
endureth
for
ever.
And
this
is
the
word
which
by
the
gospel
is
preached
unto
you.

James,
of
God
and
of
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ
a
servant,
to
the
Twelve
Tribes
who
are
in
the
dispersion:
Hail!
2
All
joy
count
it
,
my
brethren,
when
ye
may
fall
into
temptations
manifold;
3
knowing
that
the
proof

endurance,
4
and
let
the
endurance
have
a
perfect
work,
that
ye

--

nothing

5
and

any

you

from
God,
who
is
giving
to
all

and
not
reproaching,
and
it
shall

him;
6
and
let
him
ask
in
faith,
nothing
doubting,
for
he
who
is
doubting
hath
been
like
a
wave
of
the
sea,
driven
by
wind
and
tossed,
7
for
let
not
that
man
suppose
that
he
shall
receive
anything
from
the
Lord
--
8
a
two-souled
man
is
unstable
in
all
his
ways.
9
And
let
the
brother
who
is
low
rejoice
in
his
exaltation,
10
and
the
rich
in
his
becoming
low,
because
as
a
flower
of
grass
he
shall
pass
away;
11
for
the
sun
did
rise
with
the
burning
heat,
and
did
wither
the
grass,
and
the
flower
of
it
fell,
and
the
grace
of
its
appearance
did
perish,
so
also
the
rich
in
his
way
shall
fade
away!
12
Happy
the
man
who
doth
endure
temptation,
because,
becoming
approved,
he
shall
receive
the
crown
of
the
life,
which
the
Lord
did
promise
to
those
loving
Him.
13
Let
no
one
say,
being
tempted
--
`From
God
I
am
tempted,`
for
God
is
not
tempted
of
evil,
and
Himself
doth
tempt
no
one,
14
and
each
one
is
tempted,
by
his
own
desires
being
led
away
and
enticed,
15
afterward
the
desire
having
conceived,
doth
give
birth
to
sin,
and
the
sin
having
been
perfected,
doth
bring
forth
death.
16
Be
not
led
astray,
my
brethren
beloved;
17
every
good
giving,
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
coming
down
from
the
Father
of
the
lights,
with
whom
is
no
variation,
or
shadow
of
turning;
18
having
counselled,
He
did
beget
us
with
a
word
of
truth,
for
our
being
a
certain
first-fruit
of
His
creatures.
19
So
then,
my
brethren
beloved,
let
every
man
be
swift
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
slow
to
anger,
20
for
the
wrath
of
a
man
the
righteousness
of
God
doth
not
work;
21
wherefore
having
put
aside
all
filthiness
and
superabundance
of
evil,
in
meekness
be
receiving
the
engrafted
word,
that
is
able
to
save
your
souls;
22
and
become
ye
doers
of
the
word,
and
not
hearers
only,
deceiving
yourselves,
23
because,
if
any
one
is
a
hearer
of
the
word
and
not
a
doer,
this
one
hath
been
like
to
a
man
viewing
his
natural
face
in
a
mirror,
24
for
he
did
view
himself,
and
hath
gone
away,
and
immediately
he
did
forget
of
what
kind
he
was;
25
and
he
who
did
look
into
the
perfect
law
--
that
of
liberty,
and
did
continue
there,
this
one
--
not
a
forgetful
hearer
becoming,
but
a
doer
of
work
--
this
one
shall
be
happy
in
his
doing.
26
If
any
one
doth
think
to
be
religious
among
you,
not
bridling
his
tongue,
but
deceiving
his
heart,
of
this
one
vain
is
the
religion;
27
religion
pure
and
undefiled
with
the
God
and
Father
is
this,
to
look
after
orphans
and
widows
in
their
tribulation
--
unspotted
to
keep
himself
from
the
world.

sin:
and
the
sin,
when
it
is
fullgrown,
bringeth
forth
death.
16
Be
not
deceived,
my
beloved
brethren.
17
Every
good
gift
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
coming
down
from
the
Father
of
lights,
with
whom
can
be
no
variation,
neither
shadow
that
is
cast
by
turning.
18
Of
his
own
will
he
brought
us
forth
by
the
word
of
truth,
that
we
should
be
a
kind
of
firstfruits
of
his
creatures.
19
Ye
know
this,
my
beloved
brethren.
But
let
every
man
be
swift
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
slow
to
wrath:
20
for
the
wrath
of
man
worketh
not
the
righteousness
of
God.
21
Wherefore
putting
away
all
filthiness
and
overflowing
of
wickedness,
receive
with
meekness
the
implanted
word,
which
is
able
to
save
your
souls.
22
But
be
ye
doers
of
the
word,
and
not
hearers
only,
deluding
your
own
selves.
23
For
if
any
one
is
a
hearer
of
the
word
and
not
a
doer,
he
is
like
unto
a
man
beholding
his
natural
face
in
a
mirror:
24
for
he
beholdeth
himself,
and
goeth
away,
and
straightway
forgetteth
what
manner
of
man
he
was.
25
But
he
that
looketh
into
the
perfect
law,
the
law
of
liberty,
and
so
continueth,
being
not
a
hearer
that
forgetteth
but
a
doer
that
worketh,
this
man
shall
be
blessed
in
his
doing.
26
If
any
man
thinketh
himself
to
be
religious,
while
he
bridleth
not
his
tongue
but
deceiveth
his
heart,
this
mans
religion
is
vain.
27
Pure

James,
a
servant
of
God
and
of
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
to
the
twelve
tribes
which
are
in
the
Dispersion:
Greetings.
2
Count
it
all
joy,
my
brothers,
when
you
fall
into
various
temptations,
3
knowing
that
the
testing
of
your
faith
produces
endurance.
4
Let
endurance
have
its
perfect
work,
that
you
may
be
perfect
and
complete,
lacking
in
nothing.
5
But
if
any
of
you
lacks
wisdom,
let
him
ask
of
God,
who
gives
to
all
liberally
and
without
reproach;
and
it
will
be
given
to
him.
6
But
let
him
ask
in
faith,
without
any
doubting,
for
he
who
doubts
is
like
a
wave
of
the
sea,
driven
by
the
wind
and
tossed.
7
For
let
that
man
not
think
that
he
will
receive
anything
from
the
Lord.
8
He
is
a
double-minded
man,
unstable
in
all
his
ways.
9
But
let
the
brother
in
humble
circumstances
glory
in
his
high
position;
10
and
the
rich,
in
that
he
is
made
humble,
because
like
the
flower
in
the
grass,
he
will
pass
away.
11
For
the
sun
arises
with
the
scorching
wind,
and
withers
the
grass,
and
the
flower
in
it
falls,
and
the
beauty
of
its
appearance
perishes.
So
also
will
the
rich
man
fade
away
in
his
pursuits.
12
Blessed
is
the
man
who
endures
temptation,
for
when
he
has
been
approved,
he
will
receive
the
crown
of
life,
which
the
Lord
promised
to
those
who
love
him.
13
Let
no
man
say
when
he
is
tempted,
"I
am
tempted
by
God,"
for
God
can't
be
tempted
by
evil,
and
he
himself
tempts
no
one.
14
But
each
one
is
tempted,
when
he
is
drawn
away
by
his
own
lust,
and
enticed.
15
Then
the
lust,
when
it
has
conceived,
bears
sin;
and
the
sin,
when
it
is
full
grown,
brings
forth
death.
16
Don't
be
deceived,
my
beloved
brothers.
17
Every
good
gift
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
coming
down
from

with

forth
by
the
word
of
truth,
that
we
should
be

19
So,
then,
my
beloved
brothers,
let
every
man
be
swift
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
and
slow
to
anger;
20
for
the
anger
of
man
doesn't
produce
the
righteousness
of
God.
21
Therefore,
putting
away
all
filthiness
and
overflowing
of
wickedness,
receive
with
humility
the
implanted
word,
which
is
able
to
save
your
souls.
22
But
be
doers
of
the
word,
and
not
only
hearers,
deluding
your
own
selves.
23
For
if
anyone
is

hearer
of
the
word
and
not
a
doer,
he
is
like
a
man
beholding
his

24
for
he

himself,

goes

but
a
doer
of
the
work,
this
man
will
be
blessed
in
what
he
does.

If

thereof
falleth,
and
the
grace
of
the
fashion
of
it
perisheth:
so
also
shall
the
rich
man
fade
away
in
his
goings.
12
Blessed
is
the
man
that
endureth
temptation:
for
when
he
hath
been
approved,
he
shall
receive
the
crown
of
life,
which
{cf15i
the
Lord}
promised
to
them
that
love
him.
13
Let
no
man
say
when
he
is
tempted,
I
am
tempted
of
God:
for
God
cannot
be
tempted
with
evil,
and
he
himself
tempteth
no
man:
14
but
each
man
is
tempted,
when
he
is
drawn
away
by
his
own
lust,
and
enticed.
15
Then
the
lust,
when
it
hath
conceived,
beareth
sin:
and
the
sin,
when
it
is
fullgrown,
bringeth
forth
death.
16
Be
not
deceived,
my
beloved
brethren.
17
Every
good
gift
and
every
perfect
boon
is
from
above,
coming
down
from
the
Father
of
lights,
with
whom
can
be
no
variation,
neither
shadow
that
is
cast
by
turning.
18
Of
his
own
will
he
brought
us
forth
by
the
word
of
truth,
that
we
should
be
a
kind
of
firstfruits
of
his
creatures.
19
Ye
know
{cf15i
this},
my
beloved
brethren.
But
let
every
man
be
swift
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
slow
to
wrath:
20
for
the
wrath
of
man
worketh
not
the
righteousness
of
God.
21
Wherefore
putting
away
all
filthiness
and
overflowing
of
wickedness,
receive
with
meekness
the
implanted
word,
which
is
able
to
save
your
souls.
22
But
be
ye
doers
of
the
word,
and
not
hearers
only,
deluding
your
own
selves.
23
For
if
any
one
is
a
hearer
of
the
word,
and
not
a
doer,
he
is
like
unto
a
man
beholding
his
natural
face
in
a
mirror:
24
for
he
beholdeth
himself,
and
goeth
away,
and
straightway
forgetteth
what
manner
of
man
he
was.
25
But
he
that
looketh
into
the
perfect
law,
the
{cf15i
law}
of
liberty,
and
{cf15i
so}
continueth,
being
not
a
hearer
that
forgetteth,
but
a
doer
that
worketh,
this
man
shall
be
blessed
in
his
doing.
26
If
any
man
thinketh
himself
to
be
religious,
while
he
bridleth
not
his
tongue
but
deceiveth
his
heart,
this
man-s
religion
is
vain.

Knowing

But

If

6
But
let
him
ask
in
faith,
nothing
wavering.
For
he
that
wavers
is
like
a

so
that
you
will
be
perfect
and
complete,
not
deficient
in
anything.
5
But
if
anyone
is
deficient
in
wisdom,
he
should
ask
God,
who
gives
to
all
generously
and
without
reprimand,
and
it
will
be
given
to
him.
6
But
he
must
ask
in
faith
without
doubting,
for
the
one
who
doubts
is
like
a
wave
of
the
sea,
blown
and
tossed
around
by
the
wind.
7
For
that
person
must
not
suppose
that
he
will
receive
anything
from
the
Lord,
8
since
he
is
a
double-minded
individual,
unstable
in
all
his
ways.
9
Now
the
believer
of
humble
means
should
take
pride
in
his
high
position.
10
But
the
rich
person's
pride
should
be
in
his
humiliation,
because
he
will
pass
away
like
a
wildflower
in
the
meadow.
11
For
the
sun
rises
with
its
heat
and
dries
up
the
meadow;
the
petal
of
the
flower
falls
off
and
its
beauty
is
lost
forever.
So
also
the
rich
person
in
the
midst
of
his
pursuits
will
wither
away.
12
Happy
is
the
one
who
endures
testing,
because
when
he
has
proven
to
be
genuine,
he
will
receive
the
crown
of
life
that
God
promised
to
those
who
love
him.
13
Let
no
one
say
when
he
is
tempted,
"I
am
tempted
by
God,"
for
God
cannot
be
tempted
by
evil,
and
he
himself
tempts
no
one.
14
But
each
one
is
tempted
when
he
is
lured
and
enticed
by
his
own
desires.
15
Then
when
desire
conceives,
it
gives
birth
to
sin,
and
when
sin
is
full
grown,
it
gives
birth
to
death.
16
Do
not
be
led
astray,
my
dear
brothers
and
sisters.
17
All
generous
giving
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
coming
down
from
the
Father
of
lights,
with
whom
there
is
no
variation
or
the
slightest
hint
of
change.
18
By
his
sovereign
plan
he
gave
us
birth
through
the
message
of
truth,
that
we
would
be
a
kind
of
firstfruits
of
all
he
created.
19
Understand
this,
my
dear
brothers
and
sisters!
Let
every
person
be
quick
to
listen,
slow
to
speak,
slow
to
anger.
20
For
human
anger
does
not
accomplish
God's
righteousness.
21
So
put
away
all
filth
and
evil
excess
and
humbly
welcome
the
message
implanted
within
you,
which
is
able
to
save
your
souls.
22
But
be
sure
you
live
out
the
message
and
do
not
merely
listen
to
it
and
so
deceive
yourselves.
23
For
if
someone
merely
listens
to
the
message
and
does
not
live
it
out,
he
is
like
someone
who
gazes
at
his
own
face
in
a
mirror.
24
For
he
gazes
at
himself
and
then
goes
out
and
immediately
forgets
what
sort
of
person
he
was.
25
But
the
one
who
peers
into
the
perfect
law
of
liberty
and
fixes
his
attention
there,
and
does
not
become
a
forgetful
listener
but
one
who
lives
it
out—
he
will
be
blessed
in
what
he
does.
26
If
someone
thinks
he
is
religious
yet
does
not
bridle
his
tongue,
and
so
deceives
his
heart,
his
religion
is
futile.
27
Pure
and
undefiled
religion
before
God
the
Father
is
this:
to
care
for
orphans
and
widows
in
their
misfortune
and
to
keep
oneself
unstained
by
the
world.

From
Peter,
an
apostle
of
Jesus
Christ,
to
those
temporarily
residing
abroad
(in
Pontus,
Galatia,
Cappadocia,
the
province
of
Asia,
and
Bithynia)
who
are
chosen
2
according
to
the
foreknowledge
of
God
the
Father
by
being
set
apart
by
the
Spirit
for
obedience
and
for
sprinkling
with
Jesus
Christ's
blood.
May
grace
and
peace
be
yours
in
full
measure!
3
Blessed
be
the
God
and
Father
of
our
Lord
Jesus
Christ!
By
his
great
mercy
he
gave
us
new
birth
into
a
living
hope
through
the
resurrection
of
Jesus
Christ
from
the
dead,
4
that
is,
into
an
inheritance
imperishable,
undefiled,
and
unfading.
It
is
reserved
in
heaven
for
you,
5
who
by
God's
power
are
protected
through
faith
for
a
salvation
ready
to
be
revealed
in
the
last
time.
6
This
brings
you
great
joy,
although
you
may
have
to
suffer
for
a
short
time
in
various
trials.
7
Such
trials
show
the
proven
character
of
your
faith,
which
is
much
more
valuable
than
gold—
gold
that
is
tested
by
fire,
even
though
it
is
passing
away—
and
will
bring
praise
and
glory
and
honor
when
Jesus
Christ
is
revealed.
8
You
have
not
seen
him,
but
you
love
him.
You
do
not
see
him
now
but
you
believe
in
him,
and
so
you
rejoice
with
an
indescribable
and
glorious
joy,
9
because
you
are
attaining
the
goal
of
your
faith—
the
salvation
of
your
souls.
10
Concerning
this
salvation,
the
prophets
who
predicted
the
grace
that
would
come
to
you
searched
and
investigated
carefully.
11
They
probed
into
what
person
or
time
the
Spirit
of
Christ
within
them
was
indicating
when
he
testified
beforehand
about
the
sufferings
appointed
for
Christ
and
his
subsequent
glory.
12
They
were
shown
that
they
were
serving
not
themselves
but
you,
in
regard
to
the
things
now
announced
to
you
through
those
who
proclaimed
the
gospel
to
you
by
the
Holy
Spirit
sent
from
heaven—
things
angels
long
to
catch
a
glimpse
of.
13
Therefore,
get
your
minds
ready
for
action
by
being
fully
sober,
and
set
your
hope
completely
on
the
grace
that
will
be
brought
to
you
when
Jesus
Christ
is
revealed.
14
Like
obedient
children,
do
not
comply
with
the
evil
urges
you
used
to
follow
in
your
ignorance,
15
but,
like
the
Holy
One
who
called
you,
become
holy
yourselves
in
all
of
your
conduct,
16
for
it
is
written,
"You
shall
be
holy,
because
I
am
holy."
17
And
if
you
address
as
Father
the
one
who
impartially
judges
according
to
each
one's
work,
live
out
the
time
of
your
temporary
residence
here
in
reverence.
18
You
know
that
from
your
empty
way
of
life
inherited
from
your
ancestors
you
were
ransomed—
not
by
perishable
things
like
silver
or
gold,
19
but
by
precious
blood
like
that
of
an
unblemished
and
spotless
lamb,
namely
Christ.
20
He
was
foreknown
before
the
foundation
of
the
world
but
was
manifested
in
these
last
times
for
your
sake.
21
Through
him
you
now
trust
in
God,
who
raised
him
from
the
dead
and
gave
him
glory,
so
that
your
faith
and
hope
are
in
God.
22
You
have
purified
your
souls
by
obeying
the
truth
in
order
to
show
sincere
mutual
love.
So
love
one
another
earnestly
from
a
pure
heart.
23
You
have
been
born
anew,
not
from
perishable
but
from
imperishable
seed,
through
the
living
and
enduring
word
of
God.
24
For
all
flesh
is
like
grass
and
all
its
glory
like
the
flower
of
the
grass;
the
grass
withers
and
the
flower
falls
off,
25
but
the
word
of
the
Lord
endures
forever.
And
this
is
the
word
that
was
proclaimed
to
you.

1
Greetings
from
James,
a
servant
of
God
and
of
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ.
To
God's
people
who
are
scattered
all
over
the
world.
2
My
brothers
and
sisters,
you
will
have
many
kinds
of
trouble.
But
this
gives
you
a
reason
to
be
very
happy.
3
You
know
that
when
your
faith
is
tested,
you
learn
to
be
patient
in
suffering.
4
If
you
let
that
patience
work
in
you,
the
end
result
will
be
good.
You
will
be
mature
and
complete.
You
will
be
all
that
God
wants
you
to
be.
5
Do
any
of
you
need
wisdom?
Ask
God
for
it.
He
is
generous
and
enjoys
giving
to
everyone.
So
he
will
give
you
wisdom.
6
But
when
you
ask
God,
you
must
believe.
Don't
doubt
him.
Whoever
doubts
is
like
a
wave
in
the
sea
that
is
blown
up
and
down
by
the
wind.
7
People
like
that
are
thinking
two
different
things
at
the
same
time.
They
can
never
decide
what
to
do.
So
they
should
not
think
they
will
receive
anything
from
the
Lord.

13
Whenever
you
feel
tempted
to
do
something
bad,
you
should
not
say,
"God
is
tempting
me."
Evil
cannot
tempt
God,
and
God
himself
does
not
tempt
anyone.
14
You
are
tempted
by
the
evil
things
you
want.
Your
own
desire
leads
you
away
and
traps
you.
15
Your
desire
grows
inside
you
until
it
results
in
sin.
Then
the
sin
grows
bigger
and
bigger
and
finally
ends
in
death.
16
My
dear
brothers
and
sisters,
don't
be
fooled
about
this.
17
Everything
good
comes
from
God.
Every
perfect
gift
is
from
him.
These
good
gifts
come
down
from
the
Father
who
made
all
the
lights
in
the
sky.
But
God
never
changes
like
the
shadows
from
those
lights.
He
is
always
the
same.
18
God
decided
to
give
us
life
through
the
true
message
he
sent
to
us.
He
wanted
us
to
be
the
most
important
of
all
that
he
created.
19
My
dear
brothers
and
sisters,
always
be
more
willing
to
listen
than
to
speak.
Keep
control
of
your
anger.
20
Anger
does
not
help
you
live
the
way
God
wants.
21
So
get
rid
of
everything
evil
in
your
lives—every
kind
of
wrong
you
do.
Be
humble
and
accept
God's
teaching
that
is
planted
in
your
hearts.
This
teaching
can
save
you.
22
Do
what
God's
teaching
says;
don't
just
listen
and
do
nothing.
When
you
only
sit
and
listen,
you
are
fooling
yourselves.
23
Hearing
God's
teaching
and
doing
nothing
is
like
looking
at
your
face
in
the
mirror
24
and
doing
nothing
about
what
you
saw.
You
go
away
and
immediately
forget
how
bad
you
looked.
25
But
when
you
look
into
God's
perfect
law
that
sets
people
free,
pay
attention
to
it.
If
you
do
what
it
says,
you
will
have
God's
blessing.
Never
just
listen
to
his
teaching
and
forget
what
you
heard.
26
You
might
think
you
are
a
very
religious
person.
But
if
your
tongue
is
out
of
control,
you
are
fooling
yourself.
Your
careless
talk
makes
your
offerings
to
God
worthless.
27
The
worship
that
God
wants
is
this:
caring
for
orphans
or
widows
who
need
help
and
keeping
yourself
free
from
the
world's
evil
influence.
This
is
the
kind
of
worship
that
God
accepts
as
pure
and
good.

Greetings
from
Peter,
an
apostle
of
Jesus
Christ.
To
God's
chosen
people
who
are
away
from
their
homes—people
scattered
all
over
the
areas
of
Pontus,
Galatia,
Cappadocia,
Asia,
and
Bithynia.
2
God
planned
long
ago
to
choose
you
and
to
make
you
his
holy
people,
which
is
the
Spirit's
work.
God
wanted
you
to
obey
him
and
to
be
made
clean
by
the
blood
sacrifice
of
Jesus
Christ.
I
pray
that
you
will
enjoy
more
and
more
of
God's
grace
and
peace.
3
Praise
be
to
the
God
and
Father
of
our
Lord
Jesus
Christ.
God
has
great
mercy,
and
because
of
his
mercy
he
gave
us
a
new
life.
This
new
life
brings
us
a
living
hope
through
Jesus
Christ's
resurrection
from
death.
4
Now
we
wait
to
receive
the
blessings
God
has
for
his
children.
These
blessings
are
kept
for
you
in
heaven.
They
cannot
be
ruined
or
be
destroyed
or
lose
their
beauty.
5
God's
power
protects
you
through
your
faith,
and
it
keeps
you
safe
until
your
salvation
comes.
That
salvation
is
ready
to
be
given
to
you
at
the
end
of
time.
6
I
know
the
thought
of
that
is
exciting,
even
if
you
must
suffer
through
different
kinds
of
troubles
for
a
short
time
now.
7
These
troubles
test
your
faith
and
prove
that
it
is
pure.
And
such
faith
is
worth
more
than
gold.
Gold
can
be
proved
to
be
pure
by
fire,
but
gold
will
ruin.
When
your
faith
is
proven
to
be
pure,
the
result
will
be
praise
and
glory
and
honor
when
Jesus
Christ
comes.
8
You
have
not
seen
Christ,
but
still
you
love
him.
You
can't
see
him
now,
but
you
believe
in
him.
You
are
filled
with
a
wonderful
and
heavenly
joy
that
cannot
be
explained.
9
Your
faith
has
a
goal,
and
you
are
reaching
that
goal—your
salvation.
10
The
prophets
studied
carefully
and
tried
to
learn
about
this
salvation.
They
spoke
about
the
grace
that
was
coming
to
you.
11
The
Spirit
of
Christ
was
in
those
prophets.
And
the
Spirit
was
telling
about
the
sufferings
that
would
happen
to
Christ
and
about
the
glory
that
would
come
after
those
sufferings.
The
prophets
tried
to
learn
about
what
the
Spirit
was
showing
them—when
it
would
happen
and
what
the
world
would
be
like
at
that
time.
12
It
was
made
clear
to
them
that
their
service
was
not
for
themselves.
They
were
serving
you
when
they
told
about
the
things
you
have
now
heard.
You
heard
them
from
those
who
told
you
the
Good
News,
with
the
help
of
the
Holy
Spirit
sent
from
heaven.
Even
the
angels
would
like
very
much
to
know
more
about
these
things
you
were
told.
13
So
prepare
your
minds
for
service.
With
complete
self-control
put
all
your
hope
in
the
grace
that
will
be
yours
when
Jesus
Christ
comes.
14
In
the
past
you
did
not
have
the
understanding
you
have
now,
so
you
did
the
evil
things
you
wanted
to
do.
But
now
you
are
children
of
God,
so
you
should
obey
him
and
not
live
the
way
you
did
before.
15
Be
holy
in
everything
you
do,
just
as
God
is
holy.
He
is
the
one
who
chose
you.
16
In
the
Scriptures
God
says,
"Be
holy,
because
I
am
holy."
17
You
pray
to
God
and
call
him
Father,
but
he
will
judge
everyone
the
same
way—by
what
they
do.
So
while
you
are
visiting
here
on
earth,
you
should
live
with
respect
for
God.
18
You
know
that
in
the
past
the
way
you
were
living
was
useless.
It
was
a
way
of
life
you
learned
from
those
who
lived
before
you.
But
you
were
saved
from
that
way
of
living.
You
were
bought,
but
not
with
things
that
ruin
like
gold
or
silver.
19
You
were
bought
with
the
precious
blood
of
Christ's
death.
He
was
a
pure
and
perfect
sacrificial
Lamb.
20
Christ
was
chosen
before
the
world
was
made,
but
he
was
shown
to
the
world
in
these
last
times
for
you.
21
You
believe
in
God
through
Christ.
God
is
the
one
who
raised
him
from
death
and
gave
honor
to
him.
So
your
faith
and
your
hope
are
in
God.
22
You
have
made
yourselves
pure
by
obeying
the
truth.
Now
you
can
have
true
love
for
your
brothers
and
sisters.
So
love
each
other
deeply—with
all
your
heart.
23
You
have
been
born
again.
This
new
life
did
not
come
from
something
that
dies.
It
came
from
something
that
cannot
die.
You
were
born
again
through
God's
life-giving
message
that
lasts
forever.
24
The
Scriptures
say,
"Our
lives
are
like
the
grass
of
spring,
and
any
glory
we
enjoy
is
like
the
beauty
of
a
wildflower.
The
grass
dries
up
and
dies,
and
the
flower
falls
to
the
ground.
25
But
the
word
of
the
Lord
lasts
forever."
And
that
word
is
the
Good
News
that
was
told
to
you.

This
letter
is
from
James.
I
am
a
servant
owned
by
God
and
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ.
I
greet
the
twelve
family
groups
of
the
Jewish
nation
living
in
many
parts
of
the
world.
2
My
Christian
brothers,
you
should
be
happy
when
you
have
all
kinds
of
tests.
3
You
know
these
prove
your
faith.
It
helps
you
not
to
give
up.
4
Learn
well
how
to
wait
so
you
will
be
strong
and
complete
and
in
need
of
nothing.
5
If
you
do
not
have
wisdom,
ask
God
for
it.
He
is
always
ready
to
give
it
to
you
and
will
never
say
you
are
wrong
for
asking.
6
You
must
have
faith
as
you
ask
Him.
You
must
not
doubt.
Anyone
who
doubts
is
like
a
wave
which
is
pushed
around
by
the
sea.
7
Such
a
man
will
get
nothing
from
the
Lord.
8
The
man
who
has
two
ways
of
thinking
changes
in
everything
he
does.
9
A
Christian
brother
who
has
few
riches
of
this
world
should
be
happy
for
what
he
has.
He
is
great
in
the
eyes
of
God.
10
But
a
rich
man
should
be
happy
even
if
he
loses
everything.
He
is
like
a
flower
that
will
die.
11
The
sun
comes
up
with
burning
heat.
The
grass
dries
up
and
the
flower
falls
off.
It
is
no
longer
beautiful.
The
rich
man
will
die
also
and
all
his
riches
will
be
gone.
12
The
man
who
does
not
give
up
when
tests
come
is
happy.
After
the
test
is
over,
he
will
receive
the
crown
of
life.
God
has
promised
this
to
those
who
love
Him.
13
When
you
are
tempted
to
do
wrong,
do
not
say,
"God
is
tempting
me."
God
cannot
be
tempted.
He
will
never
tempt
anyone.
14
A
man
is
tempted
to
do
wrong
when
he
lets
himself
be
led
by
what
his
bad
thoughts
tell
him
to
do.
15
When
he
does
what
his
bad
thoughts
tell
him
to
do,
he
sins.
When
sin
completes
its
work,
it
brings
death.
16
My
Christian
brothers,
do
not
be
fooled
about
this.
17
Whatever
is
good
and
perfect
comes
to
us
from
God.
He
is
the
One
Who
made
all
light.
He
does
not
change.
No
shadow
is
made
by
His
turning.
18
He
gave
us
our
new
lives
through
the
truth
of
His
Word
only
because
He
wanted
to.
We
are
the
first
children
in
His
family.
19
My
Christian
brothers,
you
know
everyone
should
listen
much
and
speak
little.
He
should
be
slow
to
become
angry.
20
A
man's
anger
does
not
allow
him
to
be
right
with
God.
21
Put
out
of
your
life
all
that
is
unclean
and
wrong.
Receive
with
a
gentle
spirit
the
Word
that
was
taught.
It
has
the
power
to
save
your
souls
from
the
punishment
of
sin.
22
Obey
the
Word
of
God.
If
you
hear
only
and
do
not
act,
you
are
only
fooling
yourself.
23
Anyone
who
hears
the
Word
of
God
and
does
not
obey
is
like
a
man
looking
at
his
face
in
a
mirror.
24
After
he
sees
himself
and
goes
away,
he
forgets
what
he
looks
like.
25
But
the
one
who
keeps
looking
into
God's
perfect
Law
and
does
not
forget
it
will
do
what
it
says
and
be
happy
as
he
does
it.
God's
Word
makes
men
free.
26
If
a
person
thinks
he
is
religious,
but
does
not
keep
his
tongue
from
speaking
bad
things,
he
is
fooling
himself.
His
religion
is
worth
nothing.
27
Religion
that
is
pure
and
good
before
God
the
Father
is
to
help
children
who
have
no
parents
and
to
care
for
women
whose
husbands
have
died
who
have
troubles.
Pure
religion
is
also
to
keep
yourself
clean
from
the
sinful
things
of
the
world.

This
letter
is
from
Peter,
a
missionary
of
Jesus
Christ.
I
am
writing
to
those
who
were
taken
away
from
their
homeland
and
are
living
in
the
countries
of
Pontus
and
Galatia
and
Cappadocia
and
Asia
and
Bithynia.
2
You
were
chosen
by
God
the
Father
long
ago.
He
knew
you
were
to
become
His
children.
You
were
set
apart
for
holy
living
by
the
Holy
Spirit.
May
you
obey
Jesus
Christ
and
be
made
clean
by
His
blood.
May
you
be
full
of
His
loving-favor
and
peace.
3
Let
us
thank
the
God
and
Father
of
our
Lord
Jesus
Christ.
It
was
through
His
loving-kindness
that
we
were
born
again
to
a
new
life
and
have
a
hope
that
never
dies.
This
hope
is
ours
because
Jesus
was
raised
from
the
dead.
4
We
will
receive
the
great
things
that
we
have
been
promised.
They
are
being
kept
safe
in
heaven
for
us.
They
are
pure
and
will
not
pass
away.
They
will
never
be
lost.
5
You
are
being
kept
by
the
power
of
God
because
you
put
your
trust
in
Him
and
you
will
be
saved
from
the
punishment
of
sin
at
the
end
of
the
world.
6
With
this
hope
you
can
be
happy
even
if
you
need
to
have
sorrow
and
all
kinds
of
tests
for
awhile.
7
These
tests
have
come
to
prove
your
faith
and
to
show
that
it
is
good.
Gold,
which
can
be
destroyed,
is
tested
by
fire.
Your
faith
is
worth
much
more
than
gold
and
it
must
be
tested
also.
Then
your
faith
will
bring
thanks
and
shining-greatness
and
honor
to
Jesus
Christ
when
He
comes
again.
8
You
have
never
seen
Him
but
you
love
Him.
You
cannot
see
Him
now
but
you
are
putting
your
trust
in
Him.
And
you
have
joy
so
great
that
words
cannot
tell
about
it.
9
You
will
get
what
your
faith
is
looking
for,
which
is
to
be
saved
from
the
punishment
of
sin.
10
The
early
preachers
tried
to
find
out
how
to
be
saved.
They
told
of
the
loving-favor
that
would
come
to
you.
11
The
early
preachers
wondered
at
what
time
or
to
what
person
this
would
happen.
The
Spirit
of
Christ
in
them
was
talking
to
them
and
told
them
to
write
about
how
Christ
would
suffer
and
about
His
shining-greatness
later
on.
12
They
knew
these
things
would
not
happen
during
the
time
they
lived
but
while
you
are
living
many
years
later.
These
are
the
very
things
that
were
told
to
you
by
those
who
preached
the
Good
News.
The
Holy
Spirit
Who
was
sent
from
heaven
gave
them
power
and
they
told
of
things
that
even
the
angels
would
like
to
know
about.
13
Get
your
minds
ready
for
good
use.
Keep
awake.
Set
your
hope
now
and
forever
on
the
loving-favor
to
be
given
you
when
Jesus
Christ
comes
again.
14
Be
like
children
who
obey.
Do
not
desire
to
sin
like
you
used
to
when
you
did
not
know
any
better.
15
Be
holy
in
every
part
of
your
life.
Be
like
the
Holy
One
Who
chose
you.
16
The
Holy
Writings
say,
"You
must
be
holy,
for
I
am
holy."
(Leviticus
11:44-45)
17
The
Father
is
the
One
Who
judges
you
by
what
you
do.
He
does
not
respect
one
person
more
than
another.
If
you
call
Him
Father,
be
sure
you
honor
Him
with
love
and
fear
all
the
days
of
your
life
here
on
earth.
18
You
know
you
were
not
bought
and
made
free
from
sin
by
paying
gold
or
silver
which
comes
to
an
end.
And
you
know
you
were
not
saved
from
the
punishment
of
sin
by
the
way
of
life
that
you
were
given
from
your
early
fathers.
That
way
of
life
was
worth
nothing.
19
The
blood
of
Christ
saved
you.
This
blood
is
of
great
worth
and
no
amount
of
money
can
buy
it.
Christ
was
given
as
a
lamb
without
sin
and
without
spot.
20
Long
before
the
world
was
made,
God
chose
Christ
to
be
given
to
you
in
these
last
days.
21
Because
of
Christ,
you
have
put
your
trust
in
God.
He
raised
Christ
from
the
dead
and
gave
Him
great
honor.
So
now
your
faith
and
hope
are
in
God.
22
You
have
made
your
souls
pure
by
obeying
the
truth
through
the
Holy
Spirit.
This
has
given
you
a
true
love
for
the
Christians.
Let
it
be
a
true
love
from
the
heart.
23
You
have
been
given
a
new
birth.
It
was
from
a
seed
that
cannot
die.
This
new
life
is
from
the
Word
of
God
which
lives
forever.
24
All
people
are
like
grass.
Their
greatness
is
like
the
flowers.
The
grass
dries
up
and
the
flowers
fall
off.
25
But
the
Word
of
the
Lord
will
last
forever.
That
Word
is
the
Good
News
which
was
preached
to
you.

God

nations,

he
will

1
From
James,
a
servant
of
God
and
of
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ.
Greetings.
2
My
brothers
and
sisters,
when
you
have
many
kinds
of
troubles,
you
should
be
full
of
joy,
3
because
you
know
that
these
troubles
test
your
faith,
and
this
will
give
you
patience.
4
Let
your
patience
show
itself
perfectly
in
what
you
do.
Then
you
will
be
perfect
and
complete
and
will
have
everything
you
need.
5
But
if
any
of
you
needs
wisdom,
you
should
ask
God
for
it.
He
is
generous
and
enjoys
giving
to
all
people,
so
he
will
give
you
wisdom.
6
But
when
you
ask
God,
you
must
believe
and
not
doubt.
Anyone
who
doubts
is

and
down
by
the

In
God's
great
mercy
he
has
caused
us
to
be
born
again
into
a
living
hope,
because
Jesus
Christ
rose
from
the
dead.
4
Now
we
hope
for
the
blessings
God
has
for
his
children.
These
blessings,
which
cannot
be
destroyed
or
be
spoiled
or
lose
their
beauty,
are
kept
in
heaven
for
you.
5
God's
power
protects
you
through
your
faith
until
salvation
is
shown
to
you
at
the
end
of
time.
6
This
makes
you
very
happy,
even
though
now
for
a
short
time
different
kinds
of
troubles
may
make
you
sad.
7
These
troubles
come
to
prove
that
your
faith
is
pure.
This
purity
of
faith
is
worth
more
than
gold,
which
can
be
proved
to
be
pure
by
fire
but
will
ruin.
But
the
purity
of
your
faith
will
bring
you
praise
and
glory
and
honor
when
Jesus
Christ
is
shown
to
you.
8
You
have
not
seen
Christ,
but
still
you
love
him.
You
cannot
see
him
now,
but
you
believe
in
him.
So
you
are
filled
with
a
joy
that
cannot
be
explained,
a
joy
full
of
glory.
9
And
you
are
receiving
the
goal
of
your
faith
--
the
salvation
of
your
souls.
10
The
prophets
searched
carefully
and
tried
to
learn
about
this
salvation.
They
prophesied
about
the
grace
that
was
coming
to
you.
11
The
Spirit
of
Christ
was
in
the
prophets,
telling
in
advance
about
the
sufferings
of
Christ
and
about
the
glory
that
would
follow
those
sufferings.
The
prophets
tried
to
learn
about
what
the
Spirit
was
showing
them,
when
those
things
would
happen,
and
what
the
world
would
be
like
at
that
time.
12
It
was
shown
them
that
their
service
was
not
for
themselves
but
for
you,
when
they
told
about
the
truths
you
have
now
heard.
Those
who
preached
the
Good
News
to
you
told
you
those
things
with
the
help
of
the
Holy
Spirit
who
was
sent
from
heaven
--
things
into
which
angels
desire
to
look.
13
So
prepare
your
minds
for
service
and
have
self-control.
All
your
hope
should
be
for
the
gift
of
grace
that
will
be
yours
when
Jesus
Christ
is
shown
to
you.
14
Now
that
you
are
obedient
children
of
God
do
not
live
as
you
did
in
the
past.
You
did
not
understand,
so
you
did
the
evil
things
you
wanted.
15
But
be
holy
in
all
you
do,
just
as
God,
the
One
who
called
you,
is
holy.
16
It
is
written
in
the
Scriptures:
"You
must
be
holy,
because
I
am
holy."
17
You
pray
to
God
and
call
him
Father,
and
he
judges
each
person's
work
equally.
So
while
you
are
here
on
earth,
you
should
live
with
respect
for
God.
18
You
know
that
in
the
past
you
were
living
in
a
worthless
way,
a
way
passed
down
from
the
people
who
lived
before
you.
But
you
were
saved
from
that
useless
life.
You
were
bought,
not
with
something
that
ruins
like
gold
or
silver,
19
but
with
the
precious
blood
of
Christ,
who
was
like
a
pure
and
perfect
lamb.
20
Christ
was
chosen
before
the
world
was
made,
but
he
was
shown
to
the
world
in
these
last
times
for
your
sake.
21
Through
Christ
you
believe
in
God,
who
raised
Christ
from
the
dead
and
gave
him
glory.
So
your
faith
and
your
hope
are
in
God.
22
Now
that
you
have
made
your
souls
pure
by
obeying
the
truth,
you
can
have
true
love
for
your
Christian
brothers
and
sisters.
So
love
each
other
deeply
with
all
your
heart.
23
You
have
been
born
again,
and
this
new
life
did
not
come
from
something
that
dies,
but
from
something
that
cannot
die.
You
were
born
again
through
God's
living
message
that
continues
forever.
24
The
Scripture
says,
"All
people
are
like
the
grass,
and
all
their
glory
is
like
the
flowers
of
the
field.
The
grass
dies
and
the
flowers
fall,
25
but
the
word
of
the
Lord
will
live
forever."
And
this
is
the
word
that
was
preached
to
you.

nations,
and
shall
gather
the
outcasts
of
Israel,
and
gather
those

1
James,
a
slave
of
God
and
of
the
Lord
Jesus
Christ,
to
the
twelve
tribes
in
the
Dispersion,
greeting:
2
My
brothers
count
it
all
joy
when
you
fall
into
various
trials,
3
knowing
that
the
proving
of
your
faith
works
patience.
4
But
let
patience
have
its
perfective
work,
that
you
may
be
perfect
and
complete,
lacking
nothing.
5
But
if
any
of
you
lacks
wisdom,
let
him
ask
from
God,
who
gives
to
all
freely
and
with
no
reproach,
and
it
will
be
given
to
him.
6
But
let
him
ask
in
faith,
doubting
nothing.
For
the
one
who
doubts
is
like
a
wave
of
the
sea,
being
driven
by
wind
and
being
tossed;
7
for
do
not
let
that
man
suppose
that
he
will
receive
anything
from
the
Lord;
8
he
is
a
double-souled
man,
not
dependable
in
all
his
ways.
9
But
let
the
lowly
brother
rejoice
in
his
lifting
up;
10
and
the
rich
one
rejoice
in
his
humiliation,
because
he
will
pass
away
like
the
flower
of
the
grass.
11
For
the
sun
rose
with
the
hot
wind
and
dried
up
the
grass,
and
its
flower
fell
out,
and
the
beauty
of
its
appearance
perished;
so
also
the
rich
one
will
fade
away
in
his
ways.
Isa.
40:6,
7
12
Blessed
is
the
man
who
endures
temptation,
because
having
been
approved
he
will
receive
the
crown
of
life
which
the
Lord
promised
to
the
ones
loving
Him.
13
Let
no
one
being
tempted
say,
I
am
tempted
from
God.
For
God
is
not
tempted
by
evil,
and
He
tempts
no
one.
14
But
each
one
is
tempted
by
his
own
lusts,
being
drawn
out
and
being
seduced
by
them.
15
Then
having
conceived
lust
brings
forth
sin.
And
sin
being
fully
formed
brings
forth
death.
16
Do
not
go
astray,
my
beloved
brothers,
17
every
act
of
good
giving
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
coming
down
from
the
Father
of
lights,
with
whom
is
no
change
or
shadow
of
turning.
18
Having
purposed,
He
brought
us
forth
by
the
Word
of
truth,
for
us
to
be
a
certain
firstfruit
of
His
creatures.
19
So
that,
my
beloved
brothers,
let
every
man
be
swift
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
slow
to
wrath.
20
For
the
wrath
of
man
does
not
work
out
the
righteousness
of
God.
21
On
account
of
this,
putting
away
all
filthiness
and
overflowing
of
evil,
in
meekness
receive
the
implanted
Word
being
able
to
save
your
souls.
22
But
become
doers
of
the
Word,
and
not
hearers
only,
deceiving
yourselves.
23
Because
if
anyone
is
a
hearer
of
the
Word,
and
not
a
doer,
this
one
is
like
a
man
studying
his
natural
face
in
a
mirror;
24
for
he
studied
himself,
and
has
gone
away,
and
immediately
he
forgot
of
what
kind
he
was.
25
But
the
one
looking
into
the
perfect
Law
of
liberty,
and
continuing
in
it,
this
one
not
having
become
a
forgetful
hearer,
but
a
doer
of
the
work,
this
one
will
be
blessed
in
his
doing.
26
If
anyone
thinks
to
be
religious
among
you,
yet
not
bridling
his
tongue,
but
deceiving
his
heart,
this
one's
religion
is
vain.
27
Pure

6
in

you
exult;

need

grieving
in
manifold
trials,
7
so
that
the
proving
of
your

much
more
precious
than
perishing
gold,
but
having
been

through
fire,
may
be

to

joy
unspeakable

10
About
which
salvation
the
prophets
sought
out
and
searched
out,
prophesying
concerning
the
grace
for
you,
11
searching
for
what,
or
what
sort
of
time
the
Spirit
of
Christ
made
clear
within
them;
testifying
beforehand
of
the
sufferings
belonging
to
Christ,
and
the
glories
after
these.
12
To
whom
it
was
revealed
that
not
to
themselves,
but
to
us
they
ministered
the

things,
which
now
were
announced
to
you
by
those
having
preached
the
gospel
to
you
in
the
Holy
Spirit
sent
from

into
which

angels
long
to

13
Because
of
this,
having
girded
up
the
loins
of
your
mind,
being
sober,
perfectly
hope
on
the
grace
being
brought
to
you
at
the
revelation
of
Jesus
Christ,
14
as
children
of
obedience,
not
fashioning
yourselves
to
your
former
lusts
in
your
ignorance,
15
but
according
to
the
Holy
One
who
has
called
you,
you
also
become
holy
in
all
conduct;
16
because
it
has
been
written,
"Be
holy,"
"because
I
am
holy."
Lev.
19:2
17
And
if
you
call
on
the
Father,
the
One
judging
according
to
the
work
of
each
one
without
respect
of
faces
pass
the
time
of
your
sojourning
in
fear,
18
knowing
that
not
with
corruptible
things,
silver
or
gold,
were
you
redeemed
from
your
worthless
way
of
life
handed
down
from
your
fathers,
19
but
with
precious
blood
of
Christ,
as
a
lamb
without
blemish
and
without
spot,
20
indeed
having
been
foreknown
before
the
foundation
of
the
world,
but
revealed
in
the
last
times
because
of
you,
21
the
ones
believing

God
through
Him,
He
raising
Him
from
the
dead,
and
giving
glory
to
Him
so
that
your
faith
and
hope
may
be
in
God.
22
Having
purified
your
souls
in
the
obedience
of
the
truth
through
the
Spirit
to
unpretended
brotherly
love,
love
one
another
fervently
out
of
a
pure
heart,
23
being
regenerated,
not
by
corruptible
seed,
but
incorruptible,
through
the
living
Word
of
God,
and
remaining
forever.
24
Because
"all
flesh
is
as
grass,
and
all
the
glory
of
men
as
the
flower
of
grass;
the
grass
was
dried,
and
its
flower
fell
out,
25
but
the
Word
of
the
Lord
remains
forever."
And
this
is
the
Word
announced
as
gospel
to
you.

Greetings.
2
Consider
it
a
great
joy,
my
brothers,
whenever
you
experience
various
trials,
3
knowing
that
the
testing
of
your
faith
produces
endurance.
4
But
endurance
must
do
its
complete
work,
so
that
you
may
be
mature
and
complete,
lacking
nothing.
5
Now
if
any
of
you
lacks
wisdom,
he
should
ask
God,
who
gives
to
all
generously
and
without
criticizing,
and
it
will
be
given
to

6
But
let
him
ask
in
faith
without
doubting.
For
the
doubter
is
like
the
surging
sea,
driven
and
tossed
by
the
wind.
7
That
person
should
not
expect
to
receive
anything
from
the
Lord.
8
An
indecisive
man
is
unstable
in
all
his

9
The
brother
of
humble
circumstances
should
boast
in
his
exaltation;
10
but
the
one
who
is
rich
should
boast
in
his
humiliation,
because
he
will
pass
away
like
a
flower
of

field.
11
For
the
sun
rises
with
its
scorching
heat
and
dries
up
the
grass;
its
flower
falls
off,
and
its
beautiful
appearance
is
destroyed.
In
the
same
way,
the
rich
man
will
wither
away
while
pursuing
his
activities.
12
Blessed
is
a
man
who
endures
trials,
because
when
he
passes
the
test
he
will
receive
the
crown
of
life
that
He
has
promised
to
those
who
love
Him.
13
No
one
undergoing
a
trial
should
say,
"I
am
being
tempted
by
God."
For
God
is
not
tempted
by
evil,
and
He
Himself
doesn't
tempt
anyone.
14
But
each
person
is
tempted
when
he
is
drawn
away
and
enticed
by
his
own
evil
desires.
15
Then
after
desire
has
conceived,
it
gives
birth
to
sin,
and
when
sin
is
fully
grown,
it
gives
birth
to
death.
16
Don't
be
deceived,
my
dearly
loved
brothers.
17
Every
generous
act
and
every
perfect
gift
is
from
above,
coming

with

message
of

so

19
My
dearly
loved
brothers,
understand
this:
everyone
must
be
quick
to
hear,
slow
to
speak,
and
slow
to
anger,
20
for
man's
anger
does
not
accomplish
God's
righteousness.
21
Therefore,
ridding
yourselves
of
all
moral
filth
and
evil
excess,
humbly
receive
the
implanted
word,
which
is
able
to
save
you.
22
But
be
doers
of
the
word
and
not
hearers
only,
deceiving
yourselves.
23
Because
if
anyone
is
a
hearer
of
the
word
and
not
a
doer,
he
is
like
a
man
looking
at
his
own
face
in
a

24
for
he
looks

himself,
goes
away,
and
right
away

what
kind

25
But
the

26
If

the
prophets

you
searched
and
carefully
investigated.
11
They
inquired
into

of
Christ
within

was
indicating
when
He
testified
in
advance
to
the
messianic
sufferings
and
the
glories
that
would
follow.
12
It
was
revealed
to
them
that
they
were
not
serving
themselves
but
you
concerning
things
that
have
now
been
announced
to
you
through
those
who
preached
the
gospel
to
you
by
the
Holy
Spirit
sent
from
heaven.
Angels
desire
to
look
into
these
things.
13
Therefore,
get
your
minds
ready
for
action,
being
self-disciplined,
and
set
your
hope
completely
on
the
grace
to
be
brought
to
you
at
the
revelation
of
Jesus
Christ.
14
As
obedient
children,
do
not
be
conformed
to
the
desires
of
your
former
ignorance
15
but,
as
the
One
who
called
you
is
holy,
you
also
are
to
be
holy
in
all
your
conduct;
16
for
it
is
written,
Be
holy,
because
I
am
holy.
17
And
if
you
address
as
Father
the
One
who
judges
impartially
based
on
each
one's
work,
you
are
to
conduct
yourselves
in
reverence
during
this
time
of
temporary
residence.
18
For
you
know
that
you
were
redeemed
from
your
empty
way
of
life
inherited
from
the
fathers,
not
with
perishable
things,
like
silver
or
gold,
19
but
with
the
precious
blood
of
Christ,
like
that
of
a
lamb
without
defect
or
blemish.
20
He
was
destined
before
the
foundation
of
the
world,
but
was
revealed
at
the
end
of
the
times
for
you
21
who
through
Him
are
believers
in
God,
who
raised
Him
from
the
dead
and
gave
Him
glory,
so
that
your
faith
and
hope
are
in
God.
22
By
obedience
to
the
truth,
having
purified
yourselves
for
sincere
love
of
the
brothers,
love
one
another
earnestly
from
a
pure
heart,
23
since
you
have
been
born
again--
not
of
perishable
seed
but
of
imperishable--
through
the
living
and
enduring
word
of
God.
24
For
All
flesh
is
like
grass,
and
all
its
glory
like
a
flower
of
the
grass.
The
grass
withers,
and
the
flower
drops
off,
25
but
the
word
of
the
Lord
endures
forever.
And
this
is
the
word
that
was
preached
as
the
gospel
to
you.
