1. Jesus said, "Don't be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me.	1. Let not ^G3361 your ^G5216 heart ^G2588 be troubled ^G5015 : ye believe ^G4100 in ^G1519 God ^G2316 , believe ^G4100 also ^G2532 in ^G1519 me ^G1691 .
2. There are many rooms in my Father's house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.	2. In ^G1722 my ^G3450 Father ^G3962 's house ^G3614 are ^G1526 many ^G4183 mansions ^G3438 : if it were ^G1490 not so, I would have told ^G2036 ^G302 you ^G5213 . I go ^G4198 to prepare ^G2090 a place ^G5117 for you ^G5213 .
3. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back. Then I will take you with me, so that you can be where I am.	3. 10. Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The things I have told you don't come from me. The Father lives in me, and he is doing his own work.	10. 11. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or believe because of the miracles I have done.	11. 12. "I can assure you that whoever believes in me will do the same things I have done. And they will do even greater things than I have done, because I am going to the Father.	12. 13. And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you. Then the Father's glory will be shown through the Son.	13. 16. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper to be with you forever.	16. 17. The Helper is the Spirit of truth. The people of the world cannot accept him, because they don't see him or know him. But you know him. He lives with you, and he will be in you.	17. 19. In a very short time the people in the world will not see me anymore. But you will see me. You will live because I live.	19. 20. On that day you will know that I am in the Father. You will know that you are in me and I am in you.	20. At ^G1722 that ^G1565 day ^G2250 ye ^G5210 shall know ^G1097 that ^G3754 I ^G1473 am in ^G1722 my ^G3450 Father ^G3962 , and ^G2532 ye ^G5210 in ^G1722 me ^G1698 , and I ^G2504 in ^G1722 you ^G5213 .
21. Those who really love me are the ones who not only know my commands but also obey them. My Father will love such people, and I will love them. I will make myself known to them."	21. 22. Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "Lord, how will you make yourself known to us, but not to the world?"	22. 23. Jesus answered, "All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them.	23. 24. But anyone who does not love me does not obey my teaching. This teaching that you hear is not really mine. It is from my Father who sent me.	24. 25. "I have told you all these things while I am with you.	25. These things ^G5023 have I spoken ^G2980 unto you ^G5213 , being yet ^G3306 present with ^G3844 you ^G5213 .
26. But the Helper will teach you everything and cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name.	26. But ^G1161 the ^G3588 Comforter ^G3875 , which is the ^G3588 Holy ^G40 Ghost ^G4151 , whom ^G3739 the ^G3588 Father ^G3962 will send ^G3992 in ^G1722 my ^G3450 name ^G3686 , he ^G1565 shall teach ^G1321 you ^G5209 all things ^G3956 , and ^G2532 bring all things to your remembrance ^G5279 ^G3956 ^G5209 , whatsoever ^G3739 I have said ^G2036 unto you ^G5213 .
27. "I leave you peace. It is my own peace I give you. I give you peace in a different way than the world does. So don't be troubled. Don't be afraid.	27. Peace ^G1515 I leave ^G863 with you ^G5213 , my ^G1699 peace ^G1515 I give ^G1325 unto you ^G5213 : not ^G3756 as ^G2531 the ^G3588 world ^G2889 giveth ^G1325 , give ^G1325 I ^G1473 unto you ^G5213 . 28. You heard me say to you, 'I am leaving, but I will come back to you.' If you loved me, you would be happy that I am going back to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.	28. Ye have heard ^G191 how ^G3754 I ^G1473 said ^G2036 unto you ^G5213 , I go away ^G5217 , and ^G2532 come ^G2064 again unto ^G4314 you ^G5209 . If ^G1487 ye loved ^G25 me ^G3165 , ye would rejoice ^G5463 ^G302 , because ^G3754 I said ^G2036 , I go ^G4198 unto ^G4314 the ^G3588 Father ^G3962 : for ^G3754 my ^G3450 Father ^G3962 is ^G2076 greater ^G3187 than I ^G3450 .
29. I have told you this now, before it happens. Then when it happens, you will believe.	29. And ^G2532 now ^G3568 I have told ^G2046 you ^G5213 before ^G4250 it come to pass ^G1096 , that ^G2443 , when ^G3752 it is come to pass ^G1096 , ye might believe ^G4100 .
30. "I will not talk with you much longer. The ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me.	30. Hereafter ^G2089 I will not ^G3756 talk ^G2980 much ^G4183 with ^G3326 you ^G5216 : for ^G1063 the ^G3588 prince ^G758 of this ^G5127 world ^G2889 cometh ^G2064 , and ^G2532 hath ^G2192 ^G3756 nothing ^G3762 in ^G1722 me ^G1698 .
31. But the world must know that I love the Father. So I do exactly what the Father told me to do. "Come now, let's go."	31. But ^G235 that ^G2443 the ^G3588 world ^G2889 may know ^G1097 that ^G3754 I love ^G25 the ^G3588 Father ^G3962 ; and ^G2532 as ^G2531 the ^G3588 Father ^G3962 gave me commandment ^G1781 ^G3427 , even so ^G3779 I do ^G4160 . Arise ^G1453 , let us go ^G71 hence ^G1782 .
