3. The sons of Hassenaah built the Fish Gate. They laid the long wood pieces that hold up the gate and hung its doors with its iron pieces.	3. 5. Next to him the Tekoites did the needed work, but their rulers would not do the work they were told to do by their lords.	5. They were the men of Gibeon and Mizpah, who were under the rule of the leader of the land on the other side of the River.	7. 8. Next to them Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, who worked with gold, did the needed work. Next to him Hananiah, one of the men who made perfume, did the needed work. They made Jerusalem like new as far as the Wide Wall.	8. Next ^H3027 unto ^H5921 him repaired ^H2388 Uzziel ^H5816 the son ^H1121 of Harhaiah ^H2736 , of the goldsmiths ^H6884 . 10. Next to them Jedaiah the son of Harumaph did the needed work beside his house. And next to him Hattush the son of Hashabneiah did the needed work.	10. 11. Malchijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahath-moab did the needed work on another part and on the Tower of the Stoves.	11. Malchijah ^H4441 the son ^H1121 of Harim ^H2766 , and Hashub ^H2815 the son ^H1121 of Pahath ^H6355 -moab, repaired ^H2388 the other ^H8145 piece ^H4060 , and the tower ^H4026 of the furnaces ^H8574 .
12. Next to him Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the leader of half of Jerusalem, did the needed work, he and his daughters.	12. And next ^H3027 unto ^H5921 him repaired ^H2388 Shallum ^H7967 the son ^H1121 of Halohesh ^H3873 , the ruler ^H8269 of the half ^H2677 part ^H6418 of Jerusalem ^H3389 , he ^H1931 and his daughters ^H1323 .
13. Hanun and the people of Zanoah did the needed work on the Valley Gate. They built it and hung its doors with its iron pieces. And they built the wall to the Waste Gate, as far as 500 long steps.	13. ^H853 The valley ^H1516 gate ^H8179 repaired ^H2388 Hanun ^H2586 , and the inhabitants ^H3427 of Zanoah ^H2182 ; they ^H1992 built ^H1129 it , and set up ^H5975 the doors ^H1817 thereof , the locks ^H4514 thereof , and the bars ^H1280 thereof , and a thousand ^H505 cubits ^H520 on the wall ^H2346 unto ^H5704 the dung ^H830 gate ^H8179 .
14. Malchijah the son of Rechab, the leader of Beth-haccherem did the needed work on the Waste Gate. He built it and hung its doors with its iron pieces.	14. But the dung ^H830 gate ^H8179 repaired ^H2388 Malchiah ^H4441 the son ^H1121 of Rechab ^H7394 , the ruler ^H8269 of part ^H6418 of Beth ^H1021 -haccerem; he ^H1931 built ^H1129 it , and set up ^H5975 the doors ^H1817 thereof , the locks ^H4514 thereof , and the bars ^H1280 thereof.
15. Shallum the son of Col-hozeh, the leader of Mizpah, did the needed work on the Well Gate. He built it, covered it, and hung its doors with its iron pieces. And he built the wall of the Pool of Shelah at the King's Garden as far as the steps that go down from the City of David.	15. But the gate ^H8179 of the fountain ^H5869 repaired ^H2388 Shallun ^H7968 the son ^H1121 of Col ^H3626 -hozeh , the ruler ^H8269 of part ^H6418 of Mizpah ^H4709 ; he ^H1931 built ^H1129 it , and covered ^H2926 it , and set up ^H5975 the doors ^H1817 thereof , the locks ^H4514 thereof , and the bars ^H1280 thereof , and the wall ^H2346 of the pool ^H1295 of Siloah ^H7975 by the king ^H4428 's garden ^H1588 , and unto ^H5704 the stairs ^H4609 that go down ^H3381 from the city ^H4480 ^H5892 of David ^H1732 .
16. After him Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, leader of half of Beth-zur, did the needed work as far as David's grave, and as far as the Man-made Pool and the House of the Powerful Men.	16. After ^H310 him repaired ^H2388 Nehemiah ^H5166 the son ^H1121 of Azbuk ^H5802 , the ruler ^H8269 of the half ^H2677 part ^H6418 of Beth ^H1049 -zur, unto ^H5704 the place over against ^H5048 the sepulchers ^H6913 of David ^H1732 , and to ^H5704 the pool ^H1295 that was made ^H6213 , and unto ^H5704 the house ^H1004 of the mighty ^H1368 .
17. After him the Levites did the needed work, led by Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him Hashabiah, the leader of half of Keilah, did the needed work for his part of the city.	17. After ^H310 him repaired ^H2388 the Levites ^H3881 , Rehum ^H7348 the son ^H1121 of Bani ^H1137 . Next ^H3027 unto ^H5921 him repaired ^H2388 Hashabiah ^H2811 , the ruler ^H8269 of the half ^H2677 part ^H6418 of Keilah ^H7084 , in his part ^H6418 .
18. After him their brothers did the needed work, led by Bavvai the son of Henadad, leader of the other half of Keilah.	18. After ^H310 him repaired ^H2388 their brethren ^H251 , Bavai ^H942 the son ^H1121 of Henadad ^H2582 , the ruler ^H8269 of the half ^H2677 part ^H6418 of Keilah ^H7084 .

Next to him Ezer the son of Jeshua, the leader of Mizpah, did the needed work on another part, in front of the hill up to the place where the things for battle were kept at the turn of the wall.	19. 21. After him Meremoth the son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz did the needed work on another part from the door of Eliashib's house to the end of the house.	21. 23. After them Benjamin and Hasshub did the needed work in front of their house. After them Azariah the son of Maaseiah, son of Ananiah, did the needed work beside his house.	23. 24. After him Binnui the son of Henadad did the needed work on another part, from the house of Azariah as far as the turn of the wall, and to the corner.	24. 25. Palal the son of Uzai did the needed work in front of the turn of the wall and the tower which stands out from the upper house of the king, by the open space of the house soldiers. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh	25. Palal ^H6420 the son ^H1121 of Uzai ^H186 , over against ^H4480 ^H5048 the turning ^H4740 of the wall , and the tower ^H4026 which lieth out ^H3318 from the king ^H4428 's high ^H5945 house ^H4480 ^H1004 , that ^H834 was by the court ^H2691 of the prison ^H4307 . After ^H310 him Pedaiah ^H6305 the son ^H1121 of Parosh ^H6551 .
26. and the servants of the house of worship living in Ophel did the needed work as far as the front of the Water Gate on the east and the tall tower.	26. Moreover the Nethinims ^H5411 dwelt ^H1961 ^H3427 in Ophel ^H6077 , unto ^H5704 the place over against ^H5048 the water ^H4325 gate ^H8179 toward the east ^H4217 , and the tower ^H4026 that lieth out ^H3318 .
27. After him the Tekoites did the needed work on another part in front of the tall tower and as far as the wall of Ophel.	27. 28. The religious leaders did the needed work above the Horse Gate. Each one worked in front of his house.	28. From above ^H4480 ^H5921 the horse ^H5483 gate ^H8179 repaired ^H2388 the priests ^H3548 , every one ^H376 over against ^H5048 his house ^H1004 .
29. After them Zadok the son of Immer did the needed work in front of his house. And after him Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the East Gate, did the needed work.	29. After ^H310 them repaired ^H2388 Zadok ^H6659 the son ^H1121 of Immer ^H564 over against ^H5048 his house ^H1004 . 30. After him Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, did the needed work on another part. After him Meshullam the son of Berechiah did the needed work in front of his own room.	30. 31. After him Malchijah, one of the men who worked with gold, did the needed work as far as the house of the servants of the Lord's house and of the traders. He worked in front of the Master Gate and as far as the upper room of the corner.	31. After ^H310 him repaired ^H2388 Malchiah ^H4441 the goldsmith ^H6885 's son ^H1121 unto ^H5704 the place ^H1004 of the Nethinims ^H5411 , and of the merchants ^H7402 , over against ^H5048 the gate ^H8179 Miphkad ^H4663 , and to ^H5704 the going up ^H5944 of the corner ^H6438 .
32. The goldworkers and the traders did the needed work between the upper room of the corner and the Sheep Gate.	32. And between ^H996 the going up ^H5944 of the corner ^H6438 unto the sheep ^H6629 gate ^H8179 repaired ^H2388 the goldsmiths ^H6884 and the merchants ^H7402 .
