2. Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, I am Jehovah your God.	2. Speak ^H1696 unto ^H413 the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 , and say ^H559 unto ^H413 them, I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 .
3. You shall not do according to the doings of the land of Egypt in which you lived; and you shall not do according to the doings of the land of Canaan to which I am bringing you; nor shall you walk in their statutes.	3. After the doings ^H4639 of the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714 , wherein ^H834 ye dwelt ^H3427 , shall ye not ^H3808 do ^H6213 : and after the doings ^H4639 of the land ^H776 of Canaan ^H3667 , whither ^H834 ^H8033 I ^H589 bring ^H935 you , shall ye not ^H3808 do ^H6213 : neither ^H3808 shall ye walk ^H1980 in their ordinances ^H2708 .
4. You shall do My judgments and you shall keep My statutes, to walk in them; I am Jehovah your God,	4. Ye shall do ^H6213 ^H853 my judgments ^H4941 , and keep ^H8104 mine ordinances ^H2708 , to walk ^H1980 therein: I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 .
5. and you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them. I am Jehovah.	5. Ye shall therefore keep ^H8104 ^H853 my statutes ^H2708 , and my judgments ^H4941 : which ^H834 if a man ^H120 do ^H6213 , he shall live ^H2425 in them: I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 .
6. None of you shall draw near to any relative of his flesh to uncover their nakedness; I am Jehovah.	6. *None ^H3808 ^H376 ^H376 of you shall approach ^H7126 to ^H413 any ^H3605 that is near ^H7607 of kin ^H1320 to him , to uncover ^H1540 their* nakedness ^H6172 : I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 .**
7. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother; she is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.	7. The nakedness ^H6172 of thy father ^H1 , or the nakedness ^H6172 of thy mother ^H517 , shalt thou not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 : she ^H1931 is thy mother ^H517 ; thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 her nakedness ^H6172 .
8. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is the nakedness of your father.	8. The nakedness ^H6172 of thy father ^H1 's wife ^H802 shalt thou not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 : it ^H1931 is thy father ^H1 's nakedness ^H6172 .
9. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, born at home, or born away; you shall not uncover their nakedness.	9. 10. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son's daughter, or your daughter's daughter; you shall not uncover their nakedness, for theirs is your own nakedness.	10. The nakedness ^H6172 of thy son ^H1121 's daughter ^H1323 , or ^H176 of thy daughter ^H1323 's daughter ^H1323 , even their nakedness ^H6172 thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 : for ^H3588 theirs ^H2007 is thine own nakedness ^H6172 .
11. The nakedness of the daughter of your father's wife, begotten by your father, she is your sister; you shall not uncover her nakedness.	11. The nakedness ^H6172 of thy father ^H1 's wife ^H802 's daughter ^H1323 , begotten ^H4138 of thy father ^H1 , she ^H1931 is thy sister ^H269 , thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 her nakedness ^H6172 .
12. You shall not uncover the nakedness of a sister of your father; she is a relative of your father.	12. Thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 the nakedness ^H6172 of thy father ^H1 's sister ^H269 : she ^H1931 is thy father ^H1 's near kinswoman ^H7607 .
13. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister; for she is your mother's relative.	13. Thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 the nakedness ^H6172 of thy mother ^H517 's sister ^H269 : for ^H3588 she ^H1931 is thy mother ^H517 's near kinswoman ^H7607 .
14. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother; you shall not draw near to his wife; she is your aunt.	14. Thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 the nakedness ^H6172 of thy father ^H1 's brother ^H251 , thou shalt not ^H3808 approach ^H7126 to ^H413 his wife ^H802 : she ^H1931 is thine aunt ^H1733 .
15. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son's wife; you shall not uncover her nakedness.	15. Thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 the nakedness ^H6172 of thy daughter ^H3618 -in-law: she ^H1931 is thy son ^H1121 's wife ^H802 ; thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 her nakedness ^H6172 .
16. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife; it is your brother's nakedness.	16. Thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 the nakedness ^H6172 of thy brother ^H251 's wife ^H802 : it ^H1931 is thy brother ^H251 's nakedness ^H6172 .
17. You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; you shall not undertake to uncover her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter; they are her relatives; it is wickedness.	17. Thou shalt not ^H3808 uncover ^H1540 the nakedness ^H6172 of a woman ^H802 and her daughter ^H1323 , neither ^H3808 shalt thou take ^H3947 ^H853 her son ^H1121 's daughter ^H1323 , or her daughter ^H1323 's daughter ^H1323 , to uncover ^H1540 her nakedness ^H6172 ; for they ^H2007 are her near kinswomen ^H7608 : it ^H1931 is wickedness ^H2154 .
18. And you shall not take a wife with her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her lifetime.	18. *Neither ^H3808 shalt thou take ^H3947 a wife ^H802 to ^H413 her sister ^H269 , to vex ^H6887 her* , to uncover ^H1540 her nakedness ^H6172 , beside ^H5921 the other in her life ^H2416 time .**
19. And you shall not draw near to uncover the nakedness of a woman in her menstrual impurity.	19. Also thou shalt not ^H3808 approach ^H7126 unto ^H413 a woman ^H802 to uncover ^H1540 her nakedness ^H6172 , as long as she is put apart ^H5079 for her uncleanness ^H2932 .
20. And you shall not give your semen to your neighbor's wife by lying with her, for uncleanness with her.	20. Moreover thou shalt not ^H3808 lie carnally ^H5414 ^H7903 ^H2233 with ^H413 thy neighbor ^H5997 's wife ^H802 , to defile ^H2930 thyself with her.
21. And you shall not give your seed to pass them through to Molech, nor shall you pollute the name of your God; I am Jehovah.	21. And thou shalt not ^H3808 let ^H5414 any of thy seed ^H4480 ^H2233 pass through ^H5674 the fire to Molech ^H4432 , neither ^H3808 shalt thou profane ^H2490 ^H853 the name ^H8034 of thy God ^H430 : I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 .
22. And you shall not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is a perversion.	22. Thou shalt not ^H3808 lie ^H7901 with ^H854 mankind ^H2145 , as with ^H4904 womankind ^H802 : it ^H1931 is abomination ^H8441 .
23. And you shall not give your semen with any animal, for uncleanness with it. And a woman shall not stand before an animal to lie down with it; it is a shameful mixing.	23. Neither ^H3808 shalt thou lie ^H5414 ^H7903 with any ^H3605 beast ^H929 to defile ^H2930 thyself therewith: neither ^H3808 shall any woman ^H802 stand ^H5975 before ^H6440 a beast ^H929 to lie down ^H7250 thereto: it ^H1931 is confusion ^H8397 .
24. Do not defile yourself with all these, for with all these the nations have been defiled, which I am casting out before you;	24. Defile not ye yourselves ^H2930 ^H408 in any ^H3605 of these things ^H428 : for ^H3588 in all ^H3605 these ^H428 the nations ^H1471 are defiled ^H2930 which ^H834 I ^H589 cast out ^H7971 before ^H4480 ^H6440 you:
25. and the land is defiled, and I will visit its iniquity on it; and the land is vomiting out those living in it;	25. And the land ^H776 is defiled ^H2930 : therefore I do visit ^H6485 the iniquity ^H5771 thereof upon ^H5921 it , and the land ^H776 itself vomiteth out ^H6958 ^H853 her inhabitants ^H3427 .
26. and you, you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not do any of all these disgusting acts; neither the native nor the alien who is staying in your midst.	26. Ye ^H859 shall therefore keep ^H8104 ^H853 my statutes ^H2708 and my judgments ^H4941 , and shall not ^H3808 commit ^H6213 any of these ^H4480 ^H3605 ^H428 abominations ^H8441 ; neither any of your own nation ^H249 , nor any stranger ^H1616 that sojourneth ^H1481 among ^H8432 you:
27. For the men of the land who are before you have done all these disgusting things, and the land is defiled.	27. *( For ^H3588 ^H853 all ^H3605 these ^H411 abominations ^H8441 have the men ^H376 of the land ^H776 done ^H6213 , which ^H834 were* before ^H6440 you , and the land ^H776 is defiled ^H2930 ;)**
28. Do not do these lest the land vomit you out for your defiling it, as it has vomited out the nation that was before you.	28. *That the land ^H776 spew not you out ^H6958 ^H3808 ^H853 also , when ye defile ^H2930 it, as ^H834 it spewed out ^H6958 ^H853 the nations ^H1471 that ^H834 were* before ^H6440 you.**
29. For anyone who does any of these disgusting things, even the persons who are doing them, shall be cut off from the midst of their people.	29. For ^H3588 whosoever ^H3605 ^H834 shall commit ^H6213 any ^H4480 ^H3605 of these ^H428 abominations ^H8441 , even the souls ^H5315 that commit ^H6213 them shall be cut off ^H3772 from among ^H4480 ^H7130 their people ^H5971 .
30. And you shall keep My charge, so as not to do any of the disgusting customs which were committed before you; and you shall not defile yourselves with them; I am Jehovah your God.	30. Therefore shall ye keep ^H8104 ^H853 mine ordinance ^H4931 , that ye commit not ^H6213 ^H1115 any one of these abominable customs ^H4480 ^H2708 ^H8441 , which ^H834 were committed ^H6213 before ^H6440 you , and that ye defile not yourselves ^H2930 ^H3808 therein: I ^H589 am the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 .
